Serve as PepsiCo AMESA EHS Governance lead, driving ownership at all levels of the organization. Deploy training program & build the right capability and understanding for ISO, OSHA & GEHSMS across AMESA markets’ sites Partner with the markets to ensure continuous improvement of GEHSMS standards (38 standards) implementation by developing the right action plan & ensure timely implementation Support the markets to be ready for ‘Multi Site Certification’ Audit which is a key requirement for maintaining Pepsico Global Insurance agreement with FM Global by developing the right capability and implementation for ‘MSC’ requirement as a readiness for External Auditor Develop Annual GEHSMS and PepsiCo H&S standards audit plans across all AMESA Markets plants, DCs, and Sales operations Ensure high competence of compliance auditors’ team to the audit tools/skills and provide all the required training needs to auditors to ensure their capability to conduct structured H&S audits versus the corporate diagnostics Ensure training and calibrating all inhouse auditors, collaborate with Markets’ EHS Manager to develop annual cross audit plans across the sector Deploy PepsiCo H&S Competencies assessment and Competencies development plans for H&S professionals and critical management roles across AMESA Markets to identify H&S capabilities needs across all functions Develop annual training plans for all AMESA Markets based on the identified capability development needs & opportunities Fully utilize MyEHS training tools/material to ensure AMESA operations engagement to corporate H&S global standardized training. Ensure high competence of trainer’s team to the training tools/skills and provide all the required train the trainer needs to trainers. Ensure completion of audit plans in a timely manner and that all identified systems/standards compliance gaps are closed and risks are fully mitigated. Develop and communicate timely audit reports to the concerned EHS managers in the markets, corrective action plan agreed and reflected in MyEHS and proper closure for all actions Verifies and validate the undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness to deliver improvements. Being the custodian for AMESA effective tracking systems to ensure adherence to plans timelines. Work with the markets to secure the budget spends in line with the agreed action plan to ensure effective resources management and fulfillment of compliance needs. Quarterly Reports compliance status of all functions /areas, timely training progress and evaluation reports, analyze audit results and develops compliance reports to AMESA EHS snr Dir Integrate external audit results conducted by 3rd Party (OHSAS 18001 and GEHSMS) with the internal audit plan and monitor corrective action plans. Leverage AMESA best practices and effective processes identified through audits functionally and cross functionally to ensure continual compliance improvement results and share it within AMESA Markets Connect with other his\\her counterparts in PepsiCo sectors to ensure sharing best practices and training materials.

Job Challenges include leading the EHS compliance and capability build agenda for 5 AMESA Markets, 59 plants, 77 DCs, 4400 Fleet vehicles, 20 Fleet Workshops, and 10 Head Offices to PepsiCo 38 GEHSMS Standards , international standards of OHSAS 18001, ISO14001 with consideration of local H&S regulations. As well as developing and leading the execution of Health & Safety governance capability building agenda across all the markets & organization to raise the level of EHS awareness and significantly contributes to the safety culture transformation journey
Main Responsibility Frame:
Key accountabilities for the role include:
Subject Matter Expert: Act as the Sector subject matter expert on EHS management systems, processes and auditing Collaborate with Global team and other Sector EHS resources to operationalize EHS programs, and GEHSMS program updates Drive implementation of EHS Management Systems to ensure external certifications (ISO & OSHA) are maintained. Lead the development of Sector wide EHS auditing processes, both internal and external, to ensure compliance to government regulations & PepsiCo Standards.
Capability development: Develop critical competencies and training plans for standard owners and auditors in the field to ensure compliance with standards are delivered Drive digitization adoption with the use of mobility app, in addition to MyEHS modules as relevant. Partner with Pioneer Food sites (80 sites) to onboard EHS team on Pepsico system standards and build the right capability and competencies while ensuring the compliance with local & Pepsico requirement
Performance improvement: Drive continuous improvement and best in class delivery of GEHSMS standards through promotion of simplification and standardization of standards deployment across the sector, ensuring replication of best practices and guiding prioritized improvement roadmap through gap analysis Track and measure GEHSMS program status through dashboard reports on action completions and self-assessment scores and fulfilment of standards requirements. #LI-MENAFOBO
