About This Job

We are currently hiring for a double hat role: Key Account Manager for Tunisia & Libya and Marketing Operations Lead for Algeria, Tunisia & Libya .
- Manages the strategic relationship between Syngenta and a key account to achieve agreed sales targets, or strategic objectives (including integrated producers, significant channel, and downstream players)
- Supports the sales team in improving overall business performance with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing services, including market and customer analytics, campaign planning and execution support, A&P execution, marketing communication and product promotion materials, and digital platform management
As Marketing Operations Lead Implements the annual marketing plan in close connection with the sales team, and within the agreed Marketing budget Designs and delivers campaigns, including NPIs, in close cooperation with the sales teams and Product Development Specialists Organizes customer events (demo days, demonstration fields local exhibitions, etc.) Reviews and approves marketing spending plans Develops and delivers marketing support and communication materials in compliance with company branding guidelines and principles, and as the interface with external agencies Supports business performance improvement by providing data driven customer insights and feedback including coordinating external market research. Provides supporting analytics to improve customer targeting for more effective campaign design and execution Manages the Veg Seeds section of the country web site and develops/ maintains interaction with growers through social media Ensures the active and appropriate use of the CRM tool by the sales team Key Account Manager Coordinates within the Veg BU network or broader Syngenta to manage and execute mutually beneficial business plans with agreed priority customers. The customers can be large integrated producers, significant channel partners, or key downstream players and influencers Executes key account specific tactics aligned with campaign and marketing plans Conducts annual performance reviews of account/ area outcomes and leverage learnings into future planning Identifies key customer insights to support design of customer services related policies, e.g., minimum order, credit, logistics guidelines As the overall owner of the account relationship, intervene as needed, e.g. for complaint handling or to support order to invoicing issue resolution
Critical experience Minimum of 5 years marketing / sales management experience Marketing or Sales experience in agrichemical business industry Familiar with the North African business environment Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or business administration (+MBA) Marketing (concepts, marketing mix principles, etc.) / Segmentation (concept and application) Business strategy development / Financial analysis / Business planning / Product knowledge Leadership skills: communicate with impact, lead change and hold ambiguity, manage for performance, collaborate across boundaries, build a culture of innovation Understanding of competitive environment, product management and line management experience / Knowledge of influencers and channel management Agribusiness experience: knowledge of Veg Seeds business
